The Seneca Falls Urban Cultural Park Visitor Center

The Seneca Falls Urban Cultural Park Visitor Center (315/568-6894)--Part of the New York Heritage Areas System, the Seneca Falls Urban Cultural Park (UCP) is the heart of this 19th century industrial boomtown. Displays include a classic main street, the Cayuga-Seneca Canal, a vintage film of the area as well as historic homes and neighborhoods. The UCP, with its theme of Reform Movements, interprets the village's development, focusing on the setting for the 1848 First Women's Rights Convention as a means to achieve the goals of education, recreation, historic preservation and community economic development. Additionally, the UCP Visitor Center serves as an orientation point for local and regional history, providing information on area attractions. Located at 1 1 5 Fall Street, the center is open year-round from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
